Livestock is the launch focus. HaulHand already models dedicated details for five adjacent hauling categories, but they are product direction—not a claim that every market is open. Haulers still decide whether each load fits their rig; HaulHand does not verify their equipment.

From posted load to paid hauler in three steps

Post what needs hauling
Pick a category, describe the load, set your pickup window. About two minutes, and it costs nothing.

Read the bids
Each hauler sends one number — fuel, their time, the run home, all of it inside. Compare the total, who they are, and what they say they will bring. You pick. We never assign anyone.
- 03
Pay when it lands
When you book, your card is authorized for the total. It is charged after delivery: when you confirm it, or after the response window if you neither confirm nor open a dispute.
Why the Mountain West
The same roads, not three scattered markets.
Montana, Idaho, and Utah are strung together by a handful of long runs — I-15 down the spine and 7 more besides. A hauler running Bozeman to Salt Lake, or Missoula to Billings, drives past other people's loads the whole way. When timing and fit line up, a truck already heading home may be able to quote the return run more competitively than one making the trip just for that load.
A corridor is where the trucks already are, not a fence around what you can post. Moab, Utah is on none of them, and Moab to Boise is still a haul — anywhere in these three states counts, on a marked run or fifty miles off one.
National options already serve parts of this region, but some shorter rural routes can still draw few quotes. HaulHand is being built around those Mountain West routes on purpose. It is where we start, not where we stop.

Haulers keep exactly what they bid. The fee is added on the shipper's side and shown on the checkout screen — no fuel surcharge that turns up later, no accessorials invented after delivery.

At booking, the built flow asks the shipper's card issuer for a temporary authorization of the disclosed total. It is not a completed charge or a guarantee of payment and can expire. If it remains valid, Stripe is asked to capture after delivery — on shipper confirmation or after the disclosed response window unless a dispute is open. If it expires or capture fails, another payment step is required. Payout begins only after successful capture.
